This has become even more critical considering his dynamics with Pakistan Military Supremo General Asim Munir. His older brother Nawaz Sharif had to deal with then Pakistan Military Supremo General Pervez Musharraf is still fresh in memory of most people.

In addition, we will also attempt to dissect his and his family’s obsession with India, especially the region of Jammu and Kashmir, through the lens of astrology.

Shehbaz Sharif was born into a Punjabi-speaking Kashmiri family. His father, Muhammad Sharif, was an upper-middle-class businessman and industrialist. Their family had emigrated from Anantnag in Kashmir and eventually settled in the village of Jati Umra in Amritsar district, Punjab, at the turn of the 20th century. His niece Miriam Nawaz, daughter of his older brother Nawaz Sharif has also been prominent in Pakistani politics.

General Astrological Profile of Shehbaz Sharif

If we consider the above birth chart, we can arrive at some general conclusions about Shehbaz Sharif and his life and career, including his politics, family background and career prospects.

From the family business to Politics

Both Shehbaz and his older brother Nawaz Sharif chose politics as a career, rather than continuing the well established business of their father. This can be seen from the conjunction of Saturn, Sun and Neptune in the Ascendant sign of Virgo.

Virgo is a sign that represents service and the presence of Saturn here, brother Shehbaz into politics. However, since Mercury the sign lord represents Trade and Commerce, Shehbaz started off in a Chamber of Commerce before moving into full time politics.

Obsession with Neighbors (India)

In Shehbaz’s birth chart, we can see that Moon is placed in the 10th house in the sign of Gemini. Moon is in the Nakshatra (constellation) of Mrigashira which is ruled by Mars. Mars represents war and violence. In addition, Mars being in it’s debilitation sign of Cancer makes matters worse. Gemini is the natural 3rd house and also represents neighbors and cheating.

True to his job description, Shehbaz Sharif has shown an almost indomitable obsession with working against India through whatever means necessary, including terrorism. Interestingly, Moon also represents foreign influences and it’s no secret that Shehbaz was put on the Prime Minister seat after his predecessor Imran Khan spoke against the US and was suddenly overthrown in a matter of days after that. Even during the recent conflict with India, America was quick to defend him and his regime, albeit behind closed doors.

Unhappy Home?

In his chart, Mars is placed with Pluto in the 11th house, in the sign of Cancer. This is the debilitation sign of Mars and therefore, shows troubles for brothers, especially older brother. His older brother faced threats to his life many times and even had to live in exile for a long time.

The presence of Pluto also highlights the Nuclear angle and we know that Pakistan’s Nuclear assets are always in the lens of scrutiny due to extensive spread of terrorists and their supporters in the country. Most neighbors of Pakistan are concerned about terrorists taking over the Nuclear weapons for use against humanity.

Able Administrator but unlucky?

When Shehbaz Sharif inherited Pakistan after the ouster of his predecessor Imran Khan, the country was in shambles, without no foreign reserves left even to survive. Sharif showed resilience, even to the extent of appearing like a beggar when he went all out to visit powers in the Middle East and entities such as the World Bank to secure further financing for his country. During the last 1 year of his regime, Pakistan has shown some improvement economically, before returning to their old ways.

Astrological reasons

This can be seen from the placement of Jupiter opposing Saturn, Sun and Neptune, giving a steady mind and ability to cope with difficult situations. However, his lack of success is due to Jupiter being retrograde. Further, if we observe the Navamsha chart below, we can also observe that Sun and Saturn become weak while Jupiter gains some strength.

Shehbaz Sharif Navamsha analysis

Since the Navamsha indicates the final fruits of the planets in your life, it cannot be ignored. Interestingly, if we observe the 8th house of the Navamsha in the sign of Pisces, we have Mars and Pluto. Pluto represents Nuclear power and Mars means War. The 8th house typically represents sudden and unexpected events. In the recent conflict, Indian attacks damaged Pakistani Nuclear assets and currently, we have teams from America, Egypt and China trying to contain the situation in Pakistan and prevent wider spread of radiation.

Typically, Saturn in the 9th house of the Navamsha chart is not considered fortunate as the native faces problems on an ongoing basis in life. In Shehbaz Sharif’s Navamsha chart, Saturn is placed in the 9th house in the sign of Aries, with Uranus. This is definitely not a fortunate placement. Therefore, Shehbaz Sharif has not been able to enjoy himself like other heads of state.

Finally, a glaring point about the Navamsha chart is that Sun is with Rahu in the 7th house in the sign of Aquarius. The Sun also represents bosses and we can see that Shehbaz Sharif has to answer to foreign powers like China and America while also playing a balancing with the terrorists and Pakistani Military. It is indeed a job not many may want.

Shehbaz Sharif – Current Period

Currently, Shehbaz Sharif is passing through the Major period of Ketu and Minor period of Mars. Since the last few weeks, there is a focus on Pakistan’s conflicts with India and the subsequent damage to Pakistan’s Nuclear assets, resulting in possible radiation leaks. Also, the people of Balochistan are also up in arms due to side effects brought by repeated Nuclear weapon tests the Pakistanis have done there over the years. Balochistan has declared their independence from Pakistan in the 2nd week of May 2025.

From May 26, 2025, he continues in the Major period of Ketu but enters the Minor period of Rahu. In his chart, Ketu is in the 12th house in the sign of Leo with Mercury and retrograde Venus. Rahu is in the 6th house in the sign of Aquarius with Mandi and Gulika. Often, the involvement of the 6th house may also indicate an untimely death, although I am not certain of this. We cannot rule out hospitalization, house-arrest like situations or medical emergencies.

The Ketu-Rahu period continues until May 2026 which was almost a year’s time. Therefore, multiple events can be expected during this time, mostly of a negative nature.
